We have access to the information you will need to file your claim, and plan to file the claims for all Employers and Employees.  We have had to keep team members working as opposed to utilising the furloughed scheme in order to assist with compiling the information and making the claims, so need to make a charge for our time, however I have tried to keep this as minimal as possible, as I understand the pressure we are all facing financially at the moment.  If anyone has any issues with payment at this time, please get in touch with us.

Employer Claim - £15 plus VAT (which includes 1 Director or Employee) for each additional employee there will be an additional charge of £5 per person plus VAT.

For example;

1 Director - £15 plus VAT
1 Director and 1 Employee - £20 plus VAT
1 Director and 2 Employees - £25 plus VAT
1 Director and 10 Employees - £65 plus VAT

We are assuming that all clients will require us to process this on their behalf, and will be systematically working through all Employer claims from 9am tomorrow morning.  We have no idea how the claim system will work, or whether it will cope with the pressures of hundreds of thousands of people attempting to logon and file a return at the same time, but we aim to have all Employer claims concluded within 48 hours (always optimistic!) so we will keep you all updated with how we progress with this, and will send over confirmation of claim submission and a breakdown of the funds claimed once we have concluded your claim.

**PAYMENTS HAVE TO BE MADE DIRECTLY TO BUSINESS BANK ACCOUNTS, FOR EASE OF PROCESSING, PLEASE EMAIL ELLIS OR MYSELF WITH YOUR BUSINESS BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS (SORT CODE AND ACCOUNT NUMBER)**

**PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH US IF YOU DO NOT WANT US TO MAKE THIS CLAIM ON YOUR BEHALF, AND WOULD RATHER ATTEND TO THIS YOURSELF**

HMRC have launched a detailed explanation, and step by step guide on how to apply for the grant and this can be found here.

This funding scheme applies to Employers only, Employees cannot make this claim, it has to be completed by the Employer on behalf of the Employee.

If you have any questions, please get in touch.

Q&A Monthly Drop-In Meeting

Thursday 30th April @ 4pm

B-Able are hosting a free Q&A ZOOM Meeting for clients at the end of the month, which will provide a summary of all things related to the COVID19 funding and how to plan for returning to trade after lockdown.  You will have an opportunity to ask any questions you have which may be specific to your situation/business.

If you want to register for this ZOOM Meeting, please email emma@b-able.co.uk and I will send you an invite.

Pay it Forward

We have been speaking with lots of business owners, some in real financial hardship who are understandably very worried about the future for them, and if things will ever fully return to normal for their businesses.

Sometimes we underestimate the power of positivity and the impact online reviews and testimonials have on a business and personally to the business owner.  It would be great if we could start a Pay it Forward movement for small businesses right now. If you have used the services of a small business recently, now is your time to show your gratitude and leave a review online.  Make someones day!

For anyone who leaves B-Able a review in April or May we will return the positive vibes by sending you a free gift that you can enjoy whilst on lock-down, as a token of our appreciation!
